New background music on Boardwalk Empire trailer

Lansky manages to talk himself out of the situation, telling Jimmy that they’ll be happy to help overtake Nucky and Rothstein, but that they’re all best off if they deliver the shipment as planned so as not to arouse suspicion. Historians will later pinpoint this exact scene as the act credited with popularizing the “shifty Jew” stereotype, so, thanks for that, dude! boardwalk empire dvd
When Angela Darmody notes the “wireless radio exhibition” and says there’s “music everywhere suddenly,” I wonder if that’s the Boardwalk Empireproducers’ way of justifying the show’s soundtrack. It’s diegetic!
General Zod is, I think, a bit stronger than Van Alden. General Zod would not go to the speakeasy and have a shot. General Zod will stop at nothing to get the job done. General Zod doesn’t have a supervisor.
The other central question of faith in the episode concerns Margaret’s son’s first communion. The priest asks that Margaret set an example for her son and go to confession as well, but obviously this worries Nucky who wishes that his affairs remain private. Margaret decides to confess nonetheless, but her only confession is her betrayal towards Nucky: an attraction to his new hitman Owen.
Leander reads from Alexander the Great on the joint influence of fathers and teachers, and it’s a line the proto-Princeton Boy can I.D. properly, though without much additional reading comprehension. Leander underlines that Jimmy should look to emulate the hated Nucky’s smooth, understated way of operating, of seeing several moves ahead in the game (as evidenced by the maneuvering of charges onto Federal turf). “Not every insult requires a response,” Leander tells Jimmy in this scene.
